SPHINX
Is it a griffin or a Set-animal?

THE INFORMATION ON THIS PAGE IS BASED ON REMOTE VIEWED MATERIAL. IT IS THEREFORE NOT TO BE REGARDED AS FACT. DO NOT USE IT FOR SCHOOL PROJECTS. READ IT ONLY FOR ENTERTAINMENT AS AN ALTERNATIVE SCIENCE-FICTION INTERPRETATION OF HISTORY.

When I attempted to remote view the tower of Babylon, I encountered a people who I named the people of the Sphinx, since they believed that their forefathers had slain Sphinxes. This people were probably the same as the Babylonians. They fully believed in the existence of the Sphinx, it was literal, and not symbolical. One soldier even said that he himself had looked into the eyes of a Sphinx, and one soldier was himself about to go and fight the lion which was a reference to the Sphinx.

The Sphinx

The great Sphinx was the size of a large cat, but not as large as the lion or the tiger, but smaller like the puma or mountain lion or lynx. It had the feline body of a cat, white feathered wings of a bird with which it can fly, cat paws on the front, yellow golden eagle legs at the back like the legs of a hawk or predatory bird with scales on it and claws, serpent tail of a snake, head of a hawk with the beak of a predatory bird, and a snake tongue. At least that is how it was written, a soldier said they have to live with the legacy. The Sphinxes came down from the mountains where there is thunder. The Spinxes were slain with a sword by the man from Babylon and it was a great spectacle. A man of the Sphinx people believed that he had looked into the eyes of a Sphinx. The Sphinxes would never give disease to the Sphinx people. A soldier believed the Sphinx to be fully real. The Sphinx was depicted on golden plates chipped into as lines, but these plates had been stolen.

In the literature

In literature and history, the creature named "Sphinx" has the head of a woman and the body of a cat and sometimes wings of a bird. Sphinx in literature

Next I go to this List of hybrid creatures in mythology. So the Sphinx I was shown would be a non-human mythological creature since it had no human parts on it. On that list, the winged lion comes the closest, but I do not find an exact match. The Chimera had the body of a lion, wings, and the tail was a snake.

A bit dismayed that my creature was not on the list, I continued to wonder if I had remote viewed a brand new mythological creature or if my remote viewing might be completely off. I continued to look for pictures of a "cat bird" and I come across the griffin. Turns out griffin was on the list but I had searched through the list by using the search word "wing" and the griffin was not described with the word wing so I missed it on the list.

The Griffin is almost exactly what I saw, except that my creature had cat paws on the front and eagle feet on the back and the griffin is described with cat paws on the back and bird legs on the front. The griffin is also not known to have a snake tongue and snake as its tail.

I do find some references on the internet to a griffin that would have a tail that is a snake, but I am not sure if those references rely on ancient mythological creatures. I find this excerpt from a book titled "Seth, God of Confusion: A Study of His Role in Egyptian Mythology and Religion" by Henk te Velde, Herman te Velde, link,

The Set animal is the totemic animal of the Ancient Egyptian God Set.
